The Center keeps an on-site food pantry for downtown families who are facing food insecurity. Each year the pantry distributes on average 10,000 pounds of food. Our pantry is stocked from donations from the St. Matthew's congregation and we are a member agency at the Lowcountry Food Bank. St. Matthew’s Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (WELCA) chapters have been supporting the food pantry financially for several years.

Donations of both monies and non- perishable food are welcome. Online secure donations can be made from the  link on our home page.
